My favorite public transportation goes mad .....

For those who don t know, I am currently living in Dublin, capital of Ireland sorry of the Republic of Ireland (South only). And i m sure some of u know how much I 'love' this city, where we have 4 seasons in a day well lets say 3 usually the summer is missing.

Last sunday for instance, it was snowing in the morning, rainy then more or less sunny in the afternoon! U need 3 outfits per day :P

Anyway the reason why i m talking about Dublin it s because somehow i consider myself lucky, cause last week I could have die.... It was the morning, I got a mail at work in my inbox from a friend '42A goes cabrio', i was wondering what the hell he was talking about, I was guessing by the name of the title that he was referring to a bus since bus have that type of numbers. In the mail he simply sent us this LINK from rte and I quote:

'A Dublin Bus driver and 10 passengers escaped without serious injury after a bus crashed in Dublin city centre this morning. The roof came off the bus in the incident, however all passengers were seated in the lower section. The crash happened at around 8am when the bus collided with a tree near the Five Lamps on Amiens Street.'

Here the pics:

Now why am I talking about it, it s because I always well lets say 99% of the time specially when I am alone sitting on the top floor, first row, y? because being on the bus is boring and I want to have a better overview by sitting on the front or also i m sick in public transportation if i don t see the road when bus driver is driving. Anyway, I could have been there... lucky me I was not which confort me in a way that there is a good reason to pay a higher rent and live only 3 min walking from the office to avoid this type of incidents. Now, when u look at the pictures, u re thinking, how on hearth a damn tree could have destroy then entire first floor of a bus? how fragile can it be? Did they grow this tree with guiness? And why are they making double layer bus? crazy hum!

Take care people
PS: btw the title is ironic Bus is everything except my favorite transportation:)

Stuck at the airport...waiting...

It s 13:25 PM, I was supposed to take my flight to Toulouse at 12:50 ;( It started this morning with a rain, not just a rain, a monsoon! I went to the Spar to pick some stuff to eat, in about a minute half , half of my pants were already soaked as for my shoes they were already drowning underneath the water.
I arrived at the airport, and see that my flight as 20 min of delay, great, I m going through the airport security remove my belt (like i m gonna have an explosive hide in it) anyway, check the board, Gate A11. 20 min later, I moved to A8 because of the delay. I called my dad to tell him I will have 20 min late. 10 min later, again an announcement this time made by an Italian due to the 'accenté' he had, to tell I have to move my ass to Gate A14 and by the way this is not 20 min delay but 1h and 10 min, GREAT! I called again my dad, got the voice machine grrrrrrrr, to tell to come an hour later and to certainly NOT cancelled the reservation at the restaurant for my GIANT bloody steak, no matter what time i ll be there, I ll have it!
Ok, people, gotta go! Hopefully my plane will be there. Stay tune for my next adventure, usually i m not a lucky person, and there is always something funny to say after it.
I m starting to feel the tireness due to my lack of sleep this morning ;( and as I m looking through the airport windows, watching the heavy rain, I just realized that the 15 meters to bring me to the plane will be very very wet ;( I would be fun to get sick the day I arrive in France ;(

-----------------------
I am just updating this post now, it is 11PM French time, I finally managed to get in Toulouse safely, after 2 damn hours of delays and a flight a bit agitated! With a stupid woman in front of me, who obviously did not listen with the flight attendance said : 'put ur bag underneath the seat in front of u and not underneath ur own seat' of course she put underneath her seat, while my bag was already there, and i pushed back my bag, she turned and looked at me like i was some kind of dumb French! grrrrr u stupid! We did have to wait 30 min more, just because the airport facilities guys were not in hurry to bring the old grandpa and his wheelchair on the plane!!!!
Anyway, my dad was there waiting for me. The weather was freakin awesome, for the first time this summer i did not have to wear a jumper, just a tee shirt ;)
And finally, for my biggest pleasure, and sadly due to the excitement i forgot to take my camera I ate my SUPER SIZE bloody steak, it was.....so so so good my friends, I felt so much joy while eating it. I m really tired now, and i have to get up really early tomorrow to get that damn bloody test ;( still hate injection ;( Am I faint since i m not supposed to eat before ;( we ll see about that.
In the time, u have a good weekend people!

Complaint department is open... The EVIL Pigeon!

Coming France, and I know it s a pity excuse but still, in order to feel less guilty I prefer to say that is a common thing where I m from, we love to complain. This is not something bad, it is more like a hobby, and for instance this is one of my favorite hobby. Usually there is nothing outrageous, and it s more like a drama queen kind of complaint for small details. I could stop complaining but it won t be fun anymore.
I m living in Ireland, which is one of my recurrent complaint topic, including the weather ,which sucks btw, the food, I am not even gonna comment on this one, because talking gastronomy in Ireland could be resumed by 'Cuisine de France' which is for me passes all understanding... Even at work, we have free food for lunch, and usually i m eating with French people, to speak french (I m working in a team that cover 30+ languages, with people from everywhere), we will complained about the food, usually we have each day a different food recipe from different countries. When it s the day for French recipes, u can be sure that the Complaints Department is open till late. Most of the time when I complained, I m not attacking anybody in general, it s always 'them', nobody in particular, and I would not dare going to see the Chef telling that 'Potatoes Boulanger' never ever exist as a french recipe ....ever, no, cause I remember that it is free food and it s much better than my previous company.

The recent topic were the recurrent workship in front of my house by the yellow/orange men, the one wearing a flashy jacket to be sure drunk drivers will see them before actually driving on to them. Why do they have to make a freakin hole in front of my house from 8 to 11PM, actually it s the 3rd hole this week. Using crazy machine to make the most possible noise. The last 2 days, I was already in bed and was too tired to change clothes (yeah, I won t be credible talkin to them in my pyjamas...) go downstairs under the rain for what, telling them to stop, right like they re gonna listen to me. So, today, I was out, and i decided to talk to them, to see at least if I had any reasons to hate them for making wait til 11 to finally sleep. They told they have to do it the evening to avoid traffic jam during the day, which understandable, and they were actually feeling sorry for me, apologizing for disturbing me, it was quite unexpected, but I asked nicely ;) Does not mean they re not gonna come back tomorrow.

So why did I wrote this post about complaints, it s because of THE pigeon! The Evil or Stupid Pigeon, I m not too sure if they are evil or stupid. Maybe, they have a thing against me, I always have the ugliest pigeon ever coming next to me, sometimes he s missing a leg or a piece of the leg, sometimes he has the worst color ever like he s coming from the exhaust pipe of a vehicle, I dunno, without of course forgetting the most ridiculous way to walk, bouncing head from front to back, then back to front, then front to back etc etc....so for that, they really look stupid, now today on my way, I got so closed to received the bombshell from a pigeon. Usually, because I have some friends wo received some friendly pigeon s shit on their shirt, I AVOID walking to close from a small building, why? because most of time, you always have the back of the pigeon hanging out from the roof, why do they have to do that, can t they do it the other way around, it s not like they re gonna shit on their feet (when they have them) anyway? Is this some kind of vengeance, when kids scared them on the street or if they don t get food from us, by some kind of anger they will shit on our car windows, or if they doing it evil on our hair our shirts? why? So, today, I avoid it really close, still don t know how, I think I can feel the evil pigeon, I have probably some kind of radar to avoid the evil pigeon, STILL, haven t figure it out why they do it?
It s funny, how you can write a useless long post based on a pigeon. The Complaints Office is now closed, but i still invite u to complain in the comments if you feel so, sometimes, u feel better after ;)

Wordle

Here is Wordle, I found it through Ceedy blog, and I found it pretty cool:
My biggest concerns are WEATHER, and this is definitively true because my mood can be up and down depending on the weather. Yesterday I was happy because we had a pretty shinny evening, today i have a headache because of the grey sky ;(
Work as also an impact in my life, since u spend at least 40 hours a week ....working, and weather and work are really really close to each other for me because the only thing that make me support the ugly weather is my work, so u can imagine if my work sucks....
The 3rd biggest word is friend(s) and yes i need friends, otherwise.... well i m bored... need to interact with people from everywhere.... to learn everything I can.... thanks Ceedy for the link.

Happy evening,

This evening it was surprisingly sunny when I left the office today. So I decided to go for a movie, because I have lots of movies to catch up. So I took the cab, I know I m guilty but for my defense it was late and I did not want to miss the movie. After the movie, I decided to walk home. It was around 8pm and the weather was still great. Lots of people were outside. I was still wearing only a tee shirt. I walked 3.8km, that s right, might be nothing for some people but it s always a great achievement for me when i m doing it. So anyway i m screen shot my way through home. I saw many people smiling starting by me (the weather have a huge effect on me for sure) on Henry street where you have the big shops Penneys, Brown Thomas, H&M. I saw some foreigners with their tan faces, big fancy sun glasses et the Dublin map of course, taking pictures of the big stick which cost 4 millions euros, known as the Spire in the middle of o'connel street.
Then following the quay, I could smell the sea, saw some sea gals flying around and an old couple nicely dress walking side by side, till I arrived on Grand Canal Quay next to Fresh in front of the Ocean, the company's favorite bar when there is sun after TGIF on friday. The big building look a bit pinkish due to the sun going to sleep slowly ;)
Then I arrived through Barrow street where every time I m passing a big garage I can smell lemon not the kind of lemon u eat but the kind of lemon u use to wash the floor.
Then, last stop Ryan beggars bush, the pub with a terrace next to my house, it was crowded today probably because of the weather ;) Now i m home, a bit tired, especially with my ankle soared due to my fantastic fall by myself at my desk!
Positive thought: got a good news at work and a nice evening

Seriously....

Today was an ok day, I knew by looking at the forecast yesterday that the weather won t be good, until 5 it was irish weather, thank god, we got some sun till 8. Anyway, 20min ago around 9PM, I left my windows opened to get a bit of air to refresh my bedroom (I still haven t understand why it s hit during if we can call that a summer, 'irish summer' so barely 20 degree max and freakin freezing during winter). At 9:01PM, and that s why I don t understand the irish administration, they start, the 'yellow people' (the one wearing flashy jacket to be sure the drivers will see them before driving in to them) started using the most noisy tool to make a hole into the ground! Seriously!!!!!!! Why do they have to do it at 9PM, can t they do it during like proper hours. It happened the same thing 2 months ago, on saturday at 8AM, like what I can t sleep on saturday morning, SERIOUSLY!!!!! And I just realized they are using big truck with orange lights to make it official rite, since here in Ireland they don t use shutters, I still don t know why, and only in my case white curtains, i m sure my room will look like a disco stage with all the lights! I m tired ;( the sound of the hammer drill haven t help my headache going away... i need drugs!
Have a good night people!

I m getting married....

... just kidding ;( but at least my friend Mag is getting married which is good for her right, and I will be able to go to south of France on september, enjoy the sun, the food, see family and friends, far away from Ireland.
So this weekend, since the last time I went to a wedding it was 2 years, and by that time it was during winter so obviously I can not wear the same outfit, I decided to go to wedding shopping. And the weirdest part is that I decided that this time I will wear a dress, u might think, well why weird right, obviously u are a woman so you can wear dress? Well in my case, wearing a dress has never been an easy thing to do, first of all because I ve never found one where i can fit it, wait a minute... I have no problem, finding skirt, neither dress where i can easily wear the bottom of it, however since proportionally my upper body has more volume (by volume I have two of them if u know what I mean) than my lower part, so finding something where i can fit the upper part was ok, however the lower part of my body was basically swimming in the outfit with all the space he had for... So saturday morning was my challenge, I went to a shop and finally I found one...which I think is beautiful... without too much pain I have to say, you can find my beautiful dress HERE, the funny part, if we can say that, is that the upper body is so tight that i don t need to wear anything underneath, I tried a bigger size but my lower body was swimming again, I won t complain, I might have to problem to breeze after the restaurant but hey, apparently as a woman u need to suffer to be beautiful....
On saturday s night, I went to Viviane s leaving party, she is Sebastien aka Momo 's girlfriend, a colleague of mine। It was a drinking nite, where we got some kimchi rice, which is a korean dish। They re going to Korea for a month। The funny part of the night was actually Momo, where he tried a couple of presents that he got for his birthday in february and haven t eat yet, it is worth a look and he will probably kill me for updating them on my blog but he deserves it.

Next to him you can see Adel, his new flatmate from month of september, u can already see how well they seem to be close ;)
Now, on monday, something incredible happened, it was sunny!!!! even hot, can you believe it, well when i say hot, nothing compare to south of france or india, but for ireland it was hot, so we start thinking, OMG can it be possible summer this year, really, can we get some hope, I mean it is really hot in south of france, so I can imagine we can have some as well here, until I looked at the forecast.... see for yourself, it passes all comments.... I need a drink ;( And just to make it worst I m putting as well the forecast of where i m from Nimes...
