Chennai.. Pondi... last week in India ;(
Before I left for Chennai, I went clubbing in Hyd in ma favorite club and I also met blogger friend Anil :) who went with me, he even drove me on his bike to the Club, did i tell u how many time have been on bike before that? well once when I was 3 years old wid ma dad, once when I was 15 wid a friend and once with a friend in hyd... yeah 3 times :P i was a little tensed but gladly he was a good driver :)
On tuesday morning I took a flight to go to Chennai where Sundeep picked me up and brought me to my hotel. Then I spent the day with ma blogger friend Renu, such a sweet and fun person to hang out with. We went shopping to a big mall ... u basically need a map to go inside it, and even after 4 hours in it I still haven t seen half of the mall!!! I bought some anklers and shoes and clothes too many stuff :) and Renu was here with me, following me, waiting for me sooo patient! Thanks a lot Renu :) for keeping me company all day.
On the evening I went to a spanish restaurant called Zara with Sundeep, omg, the food was soooo good and not spicy and even better the spanish food was 100 times better in India than in any restaurant I went in Ireland!!!! Can u believe it!!!!
The next day I went to a outside museum with Sundeep on the beach road... It was a pretty cool one called:

Where u can find different architecture from different part of South India :) like Kerala, Karnataka... it was very cool to watch...

the only thing most of the house had in commom was the size of the doors soooo tiny it looks like previous generation was extremely 'petite' and to avoid collateral damage they put a little pillow on top of the door to avoid tourist bumping their head :P

Then the same night, I went to a night club call.... I just still can t believe it... called Dublin!! That s right people, I went to Doblin in Chennai!!!! So weird, btw the club looked nothing like anything in Dublin!!!! :P As a souvenir I kept a box of matches from Dublin :P
The next on thursday I went to Pondicherry with Sundeep and his cousin,

the funny part about Chennai and Pondi it s like pretty much NO ONE was looking at me because I ve seen soooooooo many white people!!!! unbelievable!!!!! so no one was looking anymore, I was among other white people!!!!
So I really Pondicherry, It was so nice, I went to visit a Golden Temple which I forgot the name of course,

but we could not visit it because there was a strike from the Tamil to support their peer in Sri Lanka, I just saw the temple from outside where I took a pic :) It was so peaceful... I d like to come back to have some quiet time with myself there :P

Then I went to the beach with them where I took some pics of children and people, the quality was not really good since it was almost dark....

We came back during the night... I left on friday morning to come to hyderabad for my last weekend ;(

The same night I went to see a cricket match with my friends Mazhar, Nik and Kumar at Extreme Sport bar :) I did not get all the rules and It s a pretty looong game but it was cool to watch :)
On saturday I went to Shilpawarma park and got some mehendi and for my last night, I spent it to Exess with Mazhar and Nik ;( untill 4 in the morning

and then took a cab and left for the airport ;( I was getting emotional so I guess the guy at BA counter probably had pity on me and upgraded my ticket to first class... I did not have time to enjoy my first... first class ticket since I slept pretty much all the way to London :P
I arrived jet lagged to rainny Dublin...now it s been almost 2 weeks and I m still depressed and not over the fact that i m not in India anymore ;( gosh I miss that country and co ;(
If u wanna see the pics of Chennai go THERE

Trip to Vizag... met Hems!
2 weeks ago I went to Vizag or Vishakapatnam to meet the newly handsome tall and confident Hems Bond.
I came back from Blore by train, took a cab to Hyd airport and wait 6 hours there. And I experienced a pretty scariest moment in my life. I was waiting for the Jet lite check in to open, reading magazine, when a military guy came in and asked me if the bag 1 row behind me was mine.
'no sir'
Then he asked people around who replied same like me. I m sure all of u who took a flight recently have heard the airport security announcement 'this is a security annoucement [...] unattended bag will be destroyed' well, right behind me was a lonely 'unattended bag' yes...
'Can you step away Mam' *no no I d rather stay next to it in case it blows up* duh!!! u don t ask me twice to step away, so of course i moved 20 meters away although if u think of it rationaly 20 meters... won t save my ass if the bag is a bomb. Anyway 3 min later a dude came back, this asshole went to take leak, I was so close to throw him away my pair of 3 euros flip flop bought at Penneys in his face to scare the shit out of me.
I arrived in Vizag Airport 1h late where Hems was waiting for me. We spent the 1st afternoon meeting his parents and grand parents who kindly allowed me to sleep over.
On wednesday we went for lunch in a restaurant called Tulips with Hems and his friend Kumar. It was my best meal of the week people AND it was NOT spicy but tasty ;)
Then these 2 guys gently followed me during my shopping time where i bought some anklers (really nice by the way).
We then went to the beach where i got the chance to taste the perfect temperature water but we were not allowed to swim sadly ;(
a consolation I got the chance to see some Navy guys roaming around wearing a tiny swim short and 6 packs :P among kids playing in the water and some buffalo looking for fresher ground.

Then we went to a park up to the hill, and of course i forgot the name ;(, but it was lovely with nice view of Vizag, the sea, the colorful temple and big statues (that of course i forgot the name :P) but i m sure Hems will comment the names :)
Unfortunately for me, the heat mized with the humidity hit me hard, I was sweating like hell, feeling sleepy, I got Hems worried ;(, sorry sweetie ;( So we went home desperately looking for a shower and a cooler.
On thursday, the most memorable experienced of the day was the movie I went to see wid Hems. We went to a theater to see fast and furious4. When we arrived it was mostly men around and as usual everyone was staring at me. Then I decided to go to the loo, like I always do before going to see a movie.... oh my!!!!
Soap, sink, higiene were obviously not a priority but the weirdest thing was there were well some traditional turkish style bathroom with doors obviously but also some that looks like what i m gonna call 'pee cubicles', same as the turskish one but without doors... really!!!! who could possibly pee there, and i double checked it was ladies loo, even if there is a huge and i m desperately in need to pee NO WAY, beside, u have to remember for a guy it s easy, it s only a zipper to open, for us ladies, the trousers goes down to the knee!!!!!!! intimacy?
Then we moved to the entry of the room, and the first thing that came into my nose was the smell!!! woow!!! can t describe it but i can tell you it was not smelling lavender! Now the thing is there is 10, 20, 40 and 60 rupess seats, which is different from the one price seat of 670 rupees in Ireland rich and poor same price too bad! So I was prayin that Hems took the 60 rupees see to go as far as possible from the smell. As for the rest well it s like Ireland, people chatting or answering the phone same thing!!!!
Then we got an 'entracte' ok i can understand the necessity to have an entracte for a 3h movie but for a 1h40 min movie??? really??? and the funny thing is, they don t use filmed commercial to advertise no they use 'diapositives' !!!! so old fashion, it s been ages i haven t seen stuff like that!!! But you know it s less expensive so a penny is a penny!
Now that I ll remember a movie in Vizag, the other thing i will surely remember forever was the Hems' mum homemade curd.... so freakin delicious!!!!!! I loved it so much!!!!! I could eat every day :) They ve been very kind with, tryin to cook some non spicy stuff for me but i ll surely remember the most THE curd.

Now on friday morning before I left for Hyd, I went to a park, I had the great opportunity to photograph the future handsome Bollywood Bond Mister Bond, Hems Bond... see for yourself ladies... (btw he is single :P).
Ok this is for Vizag... I was a memorable trip for me.. see pics of Vizag HERE .
PS: next on It s in the Eire... Trip to Chennai and Pondi... final days in India ;(

Trip to Coorg... Me Jane... where is Tarzan?
It s always when u need him that he s never here!!! Anyway, joke apart, let s talk about my trip to Coorg. I left on thursday night last week by train from Hyd with Sid. And I have to say that i m still not used to all the attention I get due to my pale face... i m feeling i m in a zoo but i m the one behind the cage... wonder if someone will throw at me spicy masala peanuts!!! So obviously i m the only white @ss on the quay and since the train in 30 min late well what else u wanna do right!
So the train finally arrive, when surprisingly for me, I saw a bunch of guys rushing to the first doors of the train ... WTF... the train was still movin!!!! Then Sid told me it was the 'un reserved seats' and due to the number of people rushing to it i could imagine they were def more people than seat available but apparently as long as u can fit people inside they ll go... did i mention it was around 30 degrees and this wagon did not have A/C.
So I took the luxe to travel in 1st A/C...
freakin shower works well the only option left is to use the '@ss tiny shower' thingy (i still don t get the name) pretending it is a normal shower and avoiding visualizing what people can do with it in general use!
We arrive in Blore on friday morning, and we took a cab to Merkara capital of the province of Coorg. 7 hours later we reach a peaceful and quiet place lost in the middle of Coffee plantation... 50 000 people leaving here.... so far from busy Hyderabad.
Weather: extremely AWESOME
Guest house: extremely HUUGE
So we spent the saturday doin nothing... tanning... sleeping...eating... discussing.... sleeping.... and it was great to do nothing :P
We spent the sunday in an elephant camp, when we arrived I saw that the ticket were more expensive for wite face and it was forbidden to take pics, however couple of extra rupees and instantly I was allowed to take pics!!! Btw he took our entrance fee in his pocket since we did not get a receit for the tour compare to the previous customers... strange!!!
We saw the shower time:
On a funny note, we were wondering if this elephant was a mal or a female until i took that pic :P
The breakfast:
I dunno what the hell they were given to them but it was pretty big and they swallowed that like a smarties!
Me and the big one:
He rubbed his nose against my arm which left a big trace of mud ... so i can kept a souvenir from him, don t u think it looks like he s laughing at me on that pic!
Then we went to a different park where we saw more animals like these monkeys,
rabbits, I even saw Bambi and his girlfriend
and I took a rid with an elephant... it was written 20 rupees for 10 minits (mispelling on purpose) so maybe minits are shorter than actual minutes since we stayed roughly 5 min on his back, but it felt funny, i could feel his muscles everytime he was moving.
On our way back we visited a Buddhism temple, pretty amazing and colorful!!!
Apparently the boss of this temple died 15 days ago and they kept his body still so that people can come and pay their tributes before they put him in a graveyard.
Then we went to eat a local restaurant where my friend ate on a banana leaf yeah, i know but i got my plate :P
On monday we left back to Blore and this time we took a bus, it was supposed to be a cool bus, a
PS: stay tuned for the next 'Trip to Vizag wid Hems'... i ll upload the rest of the pics soon on my usual Smugmug! Take care People!

Visiting Hyderabad
Tuesday and Wednesday were tourist days, where I spent almost 8h on the car just to visit a part of Hyderabad. Unfortunately due to my poor knowledge and tiny memory with names I can t record all the places I have been visiting, I m guessing pictures are better than blablabla... so let s just put some random thoughts...
I ve seen the Charminar, I asked a couple of my friends from Hyd who were incapable to tell why the Charminar is famous for!

I ve seen a big big museum but I won t have any pics and the reason is because u were not allowed to take some ;(
I also had to pay a 'non indian' ticket for the outrageous price of 150 rupees!!!! :P
And i experienced for the first time the 'non-tourist loo':
I entered the loo looking around looking for toilet paper... no trace of it... damn.... I was looking for the tiny pommel shower thingy... could not find it... now I started to freak out!!! How on earth should I do u know what i mean right, I was not psychologically prepared to do it with the water from the toilet!!! So I closed the door when I saw hiding behind the door a tiny tap with a small pichet underneath?? seriously!!!! Frankly I was sooo not prepared for it and I was praying to find tissues in my bagback... thank u I had some!
Then I visited the outside of a very colorful temple, now I could not go inside cause I was not spiritually dressed enough, apparently my dress was right above the knee :(

Now the things I have seen.....
- A driving school ... in India... OMG, i guess if u learn how to drive in India u can drive anywhere else!!!!

- Women wearing the 'burka' standing outside under 40 degrees... as a remember for those who read me and anyway most of u are Indians so u know how a burka looks like, the only thing u see is the eyes, and it is black, and for what I know... black attract the heat... that s right, for me wearing a burka it s like a portable sauna!!!!

And these ladies were chatting and laughing while me in the car with my white dress... pearls of sweat were sliding all the way down to my spinal colomn!
Then during the evening I experienced my first Auto ride, funny thing is It stared to rain AGAIN that night the moment we enter the auto:
(she s feeling shy :) )
This was such a great experience, I had some much fun, I saw I would die at least 3 times and half of me was drenched cz of the rain but i kept laughing during the all trip to the sari shop :) where I bought my first sari! (Don t laugh at me!)

Wednesday i went to visit the 7 Domes ... On my way, I ve seen the Golconda fort:

I did not not get inside this time cause they did not want me to take pics grrrrr so on the way to the domes we drove through a road with 200 years old houses and lots of small shops including some butchers! Now u have to remember i m not posh but i m from Europe and I m guessing standards are different, when i saw this man cutting meat on a piece of wood with no a/c or fridge or whatsoever under a 40 degrees day!!!!

and when I saw him sitting on that piece of wood with his barefeet 30cm away from the meat I almost fell sick.... that would be a trip to jail in france if someone who d dare selling meat like that cz it would kill a lot of fragile metabolims people like me!

So I did not know that the domes where actually graveyard, the biggest one I have ever seen in my entire life!!!!! So my tour guide was telling which king was buried in which dome... now the most important fact of the tour was that:
The grandfather of the 5th king was buried in the middle of the garden like a servant who d be buried except that the graveyard was in marble ok but HOWEVER the 2 mistresses of the 14th king had each other ONE SINGLE DOME for themselves!!!!!!!!! And when I asked the tour guide why on earth a king who d give such privilege for his mistresses, he told because they were famous!!! What about family!!!! Poor granpa!!!!!!!
Anyway after that, I spent i could say more than 6 hours in traffic jam in total that day! I went with my friend Zareen to pick up my sari :) then she absolutely wanted me to get some bangles and a bindi to put on my forehead so we took an auto to go there
(I felt so girly girly today at the office wearing the outfit, take a look at it cz u ain t gonna see me like that often!)
Then we pick a cake and then we head to her cousin place and then we went to her place where her mum and aunts cooked less spicy food for and kept complimented me about my fair color! The food was delicious they even made a less sweet desert for me :)
But all the traffic and the time spent on the auto and cab killed my enjoyment ;( I felt so tired and dirty with the dust we got while in the auto, i can t believe i m saying that but it was much more fun with the rain :P (due to the heat i m temporarly insane to say i like the rain :P ).
Now that s it for now, today we are thursday and I m on the way to take a train to bangalore with Sid then hit the road to Coorg, i ll be back in hyd on tuesday morning but i ll be going to the airport directly where i ll take a plane to Vizag where i ll meet my friend Hems :P
So i won t update this blog until next friday i think :P In the mean time have fun, don t miss me too much!

I reached the Indian land :P
Phew, it s 2 in the afternoon and I am in my hotel room with the fan, i m trying to avoid the A/C to get used to the burning hot weather outside :)
As i thought I haven t slept much because I can t sleep in the plane :( The trip was pretty ok, i reached Hyd at 4.30 in the morning. Before we landed I was looking at my monitor which was displaying the altitude and the temperature, I almost got a stroke when i saw at 2900 meters it was hotter than in Ireland at the moment.... 13 degrees, and when i saw the 28 degrees displayed on the screen at 4.30AM !!!! I was already thinking how would it be like now! I went out of the airport, it was damn crowded, lots of people were waiting for friends and family, and me the white @ss tourist, I did not even walk 10 meters that 10 guys jump on me to see if i was looking for a taxi!
The trip to reach the hotel with my taxi was pretty hectic, even though the road was not crowded, I will never ever ever did i say never... drive in India, people are insane.:P First of all, i had the feeling that seat belt is only for losers or tourists like me. I thought I would die at least 8 times, the indicator has no use, the horn has definitively a better effect! Taxi as autos or bikes are driving like crazy, no exceptions!
I also saw lots of dogs hanging around, with some people living on the side of the 'expressway' in a home made with sheet metals who were already cooking some spicy stuff cause i could smell it from the car!
I also saw... men holding each other hands!!!! Even a guy was putting is hand in the back pocket of the other guy's jeans. As far as I know, and for what i read love affair between same sex are not so legal in India so I was pretty surprised to see some manly men holding each other hands!!!! My friends told me it s a 'brotherhood' thing here. Well as a piece of advice my friends, if u re coming in Europe avoid the touchy 'brotherhood' here or u might get some surprise.
Now my friends came to visit today, Mazhar and his wife and son came, poor son who almost cried when he saw me for the first time, I hope he did not sick I was sick my pale white face :)
Then Nik and Mazhar who came back went on a driving trip to see the Hyd Silicon Valley with all the info company :) Then we went to the Shilparamam park where they are selling handicrafts. It was pretty cool and I got my first mehandi as u can see on the pic, it went orange and now it s brownish pretty cool!
Then we went back to the hotel, oh first i had to experience the 'crossing the road' omg, uncontrolled traffic like that + people crossing street like us ... in France, hundred of people who d died each day!!!!
Anyway, back at the hotel where got food for 3 for 165 rupees!!!! seriously!!!! do u know what u can get for 165 rupees in Ireland? 2 gums probably ok let says 2.5 gums but that s it! :)
The weather was pretty neat actually with a small breeze which allowed us to stay on my balcony while drinking and listening to music :)

The final countdown... D-2
Here we are.... in less than 2 days now... I ll be more or less awake in the plane flying over Europe on his way to Hyderabad :) You have no idea how hard it is to be at work and trying to work even though the only think I have in mind is my holidays.... 2 years of wait will be hopefully worth it... I know I know my friends already told me that It won t be less than 35 degrees celsius... compare to my tiny 10 irish degrees the first week will be tough on me but I have in my bag pack a complete pharmacy :) with every drugs sent by mum for any type of diseases I could get If i m acting too dangerous enough to eat in a dodgy place somewhere in the middle of India! As well as sprays and patch for evils mosquitoes and the Biafine, special cream for sunburns because yeah did i forget to mention that I haven t been exposed to sun for the past 3 years since I m living on a rainy greenish island so i m guessing the reaction of my delicate and extremely white french skin the first she will be in contact with a 35+ degrees 'WTF girl... are u trying to roast me like a bbq ribs!!!!'
Anyway, It will be my last post until I reach the Indian land... I might squeez one at the airport in London depending on how long I have to wait before my next flying!
So in the mean time, you all take care... as I said on previous posts, I won t be able to visit your blogs for 3 weeks, I ll try to write and publish some photos on my blog but don t expect a daily update from me.
I hope you won t miss me too much! You have a good time while I am away from Blogville!!!
PS: here is a pic of my trips i ll do roughly... some trip haven t yet been planned. Cheers!!!

It's a date... April 4th :)
Finally... after 2 years, I finally bought it:
In less than 3 weeks now, I will meet some people i have been crazy to meet for the past 2 years, finally the country I have been waiting to visit will welcome me :) My visa is done, my vaccines are fine, I just need to pack!!!! I keep telling my friends, calling my family to tell them that's it ... my credit card fainted last thursday when I bought my flight.
Well actually it was a very expensive day that Thursday 12th, I mean a very important day, on that day I got the answer I have been waiting for, to get my 3 weeks of leave, then i bought the ticket and i gave my deposit for my new flat. Oh by the way...
news flash: I m moving AGAIN... so it makes it the 22 time in 29 years, trust if i keep that ratio i ll be soon in the Guinness Record Book :)
So why am I moving u may ask... well my flatmate decided on her she wants to live alone so obviously I have to move, but this time I m done moving with girls! I m not good at it so i ll be moving with my ex ex ex ex housemate who s not working with me which is even better and in a super place, very quiet, lot of lights so I am really looking forward to it. Not too happy about packing again but hey, so moving in 2 weeks and leaving to India in 3 weeks :)
So now, I m gonna start planning my trip to India, I ll be doin the South mostly Hyderabad, Vizag, Chennai, somwehere with Bhai, and somewhere with work colleagues, might try to go to Blore but man 3 weeks it s not enough! I ll have to go back to do the North!!!! :)
Anyway people, I have not been to ur blog for a bit, it was crazy at work and It will be till I ll leave, plus with all the packing I have to do as well. But I ll try my best to pass by visiting u.
Now In India I ll definitevely write in this blog my trip to India OF COURSE with all the PICS i m gonna take!!!!!! Now if u re living in South please tell me about it, if u wanna meet me as well I d love to and if u have any recommendations on what to visit.... please do let me know.
This week i m going to an hen's party for my friend Iris who s getting married in France in August, we will have a limo trip with a diner and party :) Pics will come soon :)
Anyway my friends u have a great weekend and I ll catch wid u soon!!!! Take care :)
